Information about Food Safety

At Hygge Sushi, we prioritize high quality and safety in our products. All our dishes are prepared in accordance with strict hygiene standards and regulations from the Danish Food Agency (Fødevarestyrelsen). However, we would like to highlight the following risks associated with certain foods:

Raw Fish and Seafood
Some of our dishes contain raw fish (e.g., sashimi or nigiri). Consuming raw seafood may pose a risk of parasites or bacteria. We always use high-quality fish, which is stored and handled properly to minimize these risks.

Allergens

Our dishes may contain ingredients that can trigger allergic reactions (e.g., soy sauce, sesame, fish, eggs, etc.). If you have allergies or food intolerances, please inform us when ordering, so we can adjust the dish to suit your needs.

Storage and Transport

When ordering take-away, we recommend that the dishes are stored in the refrigerator and consumed within 2 hours of receiving them to avoid the risk of bacterial growth.

Cross-Contamination

We do our utmost to avoid cross-contamination during food preparation. However, we cannot guarantee that the dishes are completely free from traces of allergens.
